A Hall Research Technologies product story
Edited by the Electronicstalk editorial team Jan 6, 2009

Hall Research has given all the outputs on its Genesis series of HD and PC matrix-switches video over twisted pair extension.

The 8 x 8 and 16 x 16 compact video matrix switches can now be ordered with RJ45 outputs that send high-resolution video and power to compatible remote receivers over a single Cat5e/6 twisted pair cable.

Available receiver options include cost effective component video (YPbPr), active Balun (model UVB1-CP-R) and VGA/YPbPr wallplate receiver (model UV1-R-WP).

The A/V matrices are available with or without audio and feature RS-232 and IP controls.

They support PC video resolutions to 1920 x 1600 and analogue component video from 480i to 1080p.

The Genesis Series AV matrix switches facilitate complex high resolution video distribution.

Applications include: television broadcasting, multi-media conference halls, public facilities, large display projects, schools, courtrooms and command and control centres.
