Compact enclosures are sealed to IP65
IP65 sealed die-cast aluminium end panels enable the enclosures to be used in dusty and wet environments.
All sizes are supplied with drilled and tapped mounting or grounding holes and copper grounding screws; the two largest sizes also have drilled and tapped holes in the lid.
Seven of the fourteen sizes have mounting shelf in the base, enabling DIN rails or PCBs to be mounted directly into the unit to overcome the need to use standoffs to provide clearance.
On all models, the lid securing screws are positioned outside the sealed area and are captivated using individual neoprene O-rings or a self-captivating lid screw.
A moulded neoprene gasket fitted to the tongue and groove seal prevents water entry and reduces the build up of dust during repeated openings.
Two or four holes in the base, again outside the sealed area, enable the base to be fixed to a surface with no visible fixings once the lid is fixed to the body.
The range is available in natural finish or epoxy powder coated inside and out in black or grey.
It is widely available through all major distributors.
