Compact enclosures are sealed to IP65
IP65 sealed die-cast aluminium end panels enable the enclosures to be used in dusty and wet environments.
They are designed to house printed circuit boards or DIN rail mounted components, the bases being fitted as standard with internal DIN rail mounting tabs and standoffs for mounting PCBs or panels.
Manufactured in 16 sizes in five different styles, the 80-strong range is designed to meet IP66.
All lids feature a poured gasket tongue and groove seal; styled lids feature a recess suitable for mounting a keypad or label and in addition to the flat and styled self-coloured lids, the polycarbonate versions are also available with a transparent flat lid.
To avoid any possible corrosion problems the inserts and self-captivating lid screws are both stainless steel, located outside the gasket; additional holes in the base, again outside the gasket seal are provided to allow the enclosure to be wall or shelf mounted.
Optional steel panels, suitable for mounting heavy components, can be fitted to the integral mounting points in both the base and the lid and the bases also feature moulded slots to enable 1.6mm thick PCBs to be mounted vertically into the unit.
