Coax connectors mount the backplane
Harting has expanded its Mini Coax connector family with the introduction of a backplane frame.
Harting has expanded its Mini Coax connector family with the introduction of a backplane frame to ease the feedthrough of high frequency analogue signals and eliminate the long rerouting that can adversely affect high-frequency signal transmission The backplane frame is pressed in easily and provides a stable connection with the printed-circuit board
The connectors are firmly snapped into the frame with two plastic lugs.
The resulting cable-to-cable or board-to-cable connection requires no adaptations of PCB routing and simplifies the PCB design.
Harting's Mini Coax connectors offer excellent crosstalk performance and occupy a minimal slot width of 15mm, making them especially suited for high-frequency applications within the wireless telecommunications infrastructure.
