Better EMC protection with connectors
This article by David Franklin illustrates the basics and the importance of shielding effectiveness in industrial connectors.
Using the Harting PushPull Hybrid connector results in considerable space saving as well as reduction in the number of connectors and cables required for a typical installation.
Field installation is also eased through the use of plug and play termination technology.
Safe data transfer is ensured by means of Harting's patent-registered Omega shielding concept.
Up to six different codings can be realised by means of coding pins so that improper mating can be avoided.
