Hardware support for latest ARM-based controllers
The Tanto-ARM in-circuit emulator and debugger now supports the ARM9 series of microcontrollers.
Using this new feature is very straightforward.
All Flash modules existing in hardware can be selected in a clear dialog, which allows parameters such as addresses, sizes, bus bandwidths etc to be specified.
Flash programming can then be activated or deactivated as required.
With Flash programming activated, all selected Flash modules are programmed during a download.
Deactivating Flash programming protects the contents of Flash modules from any unwanted alteration.
Deletion can take place for specified address areas as well as on a sector-by-sector basis.
Lock and unlock mechanisms are supported in addition to security mechanisms.
Tanto's high-performance programming of Flash memory enables Flash debugging to take place rapidly and with a high degree of efficiency.
