Softing OPC toolkits are used by several hundred companies worldwide for the development of data access and alarms and events clients and servers The latest member of the Softing OPC Toolbox, version 3.20, is a Data Access NET Client Toolkit

Powerful OPC client applications can be created using any of the common programming languages C, VB.NET and C++.

The NET Client Toolkit supports the versions 2.0 and 3.0 of the Data Access Specification.

Comprehensive example programs make it easy to obtain fast, high-grade implementation results.

The toolkits for Windows 9x/NT/2000/XP and Windows CE.NET 4.2 as well as the XPress Server Toolkit now support Data Access 3.0 extensions with regard to the new OPC DX and OPC XML-DA specifications.

Guided by the OPC Toolbox Wizard, all it takes the user to automatically create a complete data access and/or alarms and events server is a few mouse clicks for parameter selection.

For the ActiveX client controls, C examples are currently available for the creation of OPC clients in Visual Basic.NET.

All innovations are 100% upward compatible.

New OPC XML-DA toolkits for Windows and Linux are under development.
