Hardware support for latest ARM-based controllers
The Tanto-ARM in-circuit emulator and debugger now supports the ARM9 series of microcontrollers.
During software debugging, a check is made whether a command has been effectively executed.
When a breakpoint is reached, the program flow is automatically restarted if the command is not executed at this breakpoint.
In single-step operation the Hitop user interface displays the next command to be carried out.
This provides a substantial simplification for developers by eliminating the manual assessment of status flags.
In addition to the Tanto system with its addon module for trace recording of ARM ETM-information, Tantino is an inexpensive starter tool.
The complete ARM toolchain supports controllers with ARM7, ARM9 and ARM9E processors.
Like all Hitex debugging tools, Tanto and Tantino are also controlled by the Hitop user interface.
