Hardware support for latest ARM-based controllers
The Tanto-ARM in-circuit emulator and debugger now supports the ARM9 series of microcontrollers.
Besides a STR710F development board, everything is included in the kit for getting started, all housed in a robust carrying case.
Components comprise: the Tantino for ARM7-9 JT debugger; a power supply; a quick start guide and CD with the complete HiTOP development environment; extensive programming examples; a Gnu compiler; an evaluation version of the HiSIM ARM instruction set simulator; and the Tessy unit test tool of applications with a maximum code size of 16Kbyte.
Through a simple registration and licence upgrade procedure, the full unlimited tool support can be obtained.
Alongside this starter kit, Hitex offers further kits with ARM processors from Atmel and Philips.
The complete Hitex toolchain, centred on the Tanto and Tantino and using the efficient Hitop user interface, will be introduced at Embedded World 2005.
