High-speed emulator has USB controller covered
The DProbeHS in-circuit emulation system from Hitex now supports the USB 2.0 derivative AT89C5131 from Atmel.
The performance of these new microcontrollers is almost equal to that of 32bit CPU's but at a system cost of around 30% lower.
They are specially optimised for industrial control systems, possessing excellent real time capabilities and extensive peripheral functions, including a TwinCAN module (CAN V2.0B) and a 10bit A/D convertor with 14 multiplexed input signals.
In addition, the 16bit capture/compare units allow the production and measurement of complex timing sequences on up to 32 channels.
The TantinoXC is a compact OCDS Level1 JTAG debugger that supports the new XC16x series CPU features and embedded Flash programming at high download speeds via its USB host interface.
The DProbeXC high-end in-circuit emulator allows transparent debugging up to the maximum available CPU clock speeds.
It can be enhanced with additional trace and coverage modules to give program flow analysis along with code and data access information for software QA purposes.
Like all Hitex debug tools, TantinoXC and DProbeXC are operated via the intuitive Hitop user interface.
