Hitex's latest starter kit for STMicroelectronics' STR730F gives a quick start to the development of controllers for factory automation The STR730F is based on an efficient 32bit ARM7 core and includes on-chip Flash and SRAM as well as a large variety of peripheral modules, eg for communication via USB, CAN and I2C or analogue-to-digital conversion

Everything for a rapid evaluation start is housed in a robust carrying case.

The kit includes a development board which is equipped with a STR730F controller and typical components for control and display of temperature.

Further components are the JTAG debugger Tantino for ARM7-9, power supply, quick start guide and a CD with the Hitop development environment including examples, Gnu compiler and the Hisim ARM instruction-set simulator.

The evaluation software is limited to a code size of 16Kbyte but to meet further design challenges it can easily be upgraded to an unlimited version including update and support.
