The starter kit contains all the necessary hardware and software components to start evaluation quickly and easily.
Besides an evaluation board equipped with a STR912F microcontroller, the USB-based Tantino for ARM7-9 JTAG debugger is included.
Further components are: a quick start guide and a CD with the Hitop development environment including examples, Gnu compiler, Hisim ARM instruction-set simulator and the software test tool Tessy.
The evaluation software is limited to a code size of 16Kbyte, but can be upgraded to an unlimited version to support large application development.
