Debugger can be run by remote control
Hitex Development Tools has included a remote control interface in its Hitop 5 debugger that is used as IDE and user interface for all Hitex debug and analysis tools.

Thus, external programs are able to execute emulator commands such as "load application" or "set breakpoint".
In addition, the external program receives messages about events occurring at the debug system, eg when a breakpoint is reached.
Operation by the external program and interactive operation by the user is possible at the same time.
This is not possible with pure script operation.
Typical fields of application are production test control or programming of Flash memory by the external program.
