Modular programmer moves MCUs to
production
Additional XC800 Flash target probes can be added to the XC800-ProdPro to build a production environment with up to eight parallel programming units.
Hitex Development Tools has developed a special programming package for users entering production of products based on the Infineon XC800 family of 8bit microcontrollers The new XC800 MCUs combine a high-performance 8051 core with on-chip ROM and Flash memory together with a powerful mix of peripherals including enhanced CAN, LIN and a 10bit A/D convertor

The XC800-ProdPro is a production programmer supporting all XC800 derivatives.
The XC800-ProdPro package includes a XC800 Flash target probe for storing the application program image file into the device.
It can be set up to be used in two ways: stand-alone operation, in which it automatically starts programming the stored image when it is connected to the target; or using a DLL to control the device via a PC or production line computer.
The DLL includes commands to start, stop, verify, erase and set up (load image file and settings).
The modular system is easily expandable: additional XC800 Flash target probes can be added to the XC800-ProdPro to build a production environment with up to eight parallel programming units.
