Flexible flat cable with a range of
terminations
Hitaltech has a novel range of flexible flat cable combined with round pin terminations achieved by flattening the round, solid copper conductors with a smooth transition from flat to round.
Hitaltech has a novel range of flexible flat cable (FFC) combined with round pin terminations achieved by flattening the round, solid copper conductors with a smooth transition from flat to round This gives a very flexible cable which is highly resistant to vibration, bending and acts as a vibration damper

Flat cable offers flexible PCB replacement
Component On Flexible Cable offers simplified mounting of LEDs and other electronic components directly onto a flat flexible cable.
Terminal blocks go with the (re)flow
Hitaltech has developed a new range of terminal blocks and connectors that answer the demands of modern PCB processing techniques.
The fully automated production line is able to manufacture a flat flexible solution for PCB/PCB connection, a PCB to component or an entire cable harness.
A connection can be made permanent by soldering the round pin at each end or, for a removable connection, one side can be soldered, the other combined with a connector.
For this purpose termination styles enable the use of ZIF/LIF connectors, crimp connectors, IDC etc.
Special pin length or shapes can be produced for connecting/soldering a component directly to the cable end.
Windows can be accurately placed in the insulation to enable the soldering of SMD components directly onto the cable.
For a complete cable harness assembly, a set of FFC and 'distribution pieces', specially prepared for crimp or any other connection system, can be provided.
The FFC can be supplied with double-sided adhesive tape for easy installation in production or in the field.
A range of eight pin pitches from 1 to 5.08mm is available and the length can be between 19 and 3000mm.
Various insulation materials are offered to suit the particular application.
Special pin pitches, mixed wire gauge and termination style can also be produced.
Other options include versions to take a higher current (12A) and hybrid variants containing optical fibres for signal and copper conductors for power.
QS9000 certification together with a state of the art, fully automatic production line with 100% electrical and mechanical testing, guarantees a high quality product.
The interconnect is delivered ready for use and does not need any further preparation before assembly.
