New home for battery test specialist

Hillstone Products, the UK's specialist for the supply of battery load testing and monitoring equipment, has recently moved into a new purpose designed factory.

Hillstone Products, the UK's specialist for the supply of battery load testing and monitoring equipment, has recently moved into a new purpose designed factory.

"The investment in this new factory will give a strong platform for continuing the successes achieved over the past years", says Managing Director, Paul Smethurst.

"With the high quality product portfolio and the new manufacturing facility, we will be able to meet the high expectations and demands of our customers throughout the world".

"The new factory allows an expansion of our manufacturing capabilities and will fully support our three main product line: load banks, battery monitoring equipment and battery testing and charging rental equipment".

Located very close to the old factory and remaining in Bury, Lancashire, the building was previously an ice cream factory.

The moving project involved the building of internal workshops, offices, storage and test areas.

Production was ready to commence at the start of 2006 and was completed within a timescale of just 2 months.

"Staying within the Bury area was a vital part of moving", says Smethurst.
