Most integrated GSM RF transceiver so far
Hitachi has launched its most integrated GSM RF transceiver solution to date.
The trip involved sleeping the night in a refuge on the mountain at an altitude of 3819m, then resuming the ascent at 2.00am in order to attain the summit and return to base later that afternoon while snow conditions remained favourable.
"It was a real test of teamwork, discipline and stamina for all twelve to reach the summit together, but it was more than rewarded by the spectacular views and the real sense of group achievement", said David Wollen, Group Executive of Marketing, Hitachi Europe.
As well as unfurling Hitachi's new corporate "Inspire the Next" logo on the summit the team took the opportunity to video events using Hitachi's new DVD camera, which proved rugged enough to cope well with the adverse conditions.
The climbers were: Francesco Rotta and Stefano Gattazzo from Milan; Daniel Borleteau and Francois Meyer from Paris; Jean-Pierre Delesse and Isabelle Dutilleul from Paris; Yoshiaki Ujino from Tokyo; Joachim Rupp and Karel Stobbelaar from Munich; David Wollen and Mark Dalton from London; and Jari Kokkonen from Helsinki.
