Diode array protects two USB ports at once
The ProTek Devices USB208 is a USB protection device in a miniature surface-mount package.
With a low input capacitance per line of less than 6pF, plus two diode pairs for each line, the ET108 provides both positive and negative transient protection.
Designed to protect against an ESD threat of greater than 25kV contact discharge, the array will protect against the transient environments defined in the IEC1000-4-2 (EN61000-4-2) ESD, IEC1000-4-4 (EN61000-4-4) EFT, and IEC1000-4-5 (EN61000-4-5) surge standards.
The ET108 is available in an SO-8 package.
Ground pins are located on the same side for easy connection to common ground.
