The ProTek Devices I06LC is a high-speed low-capacitance steering diode array for the protection of up to six data lines or I/O ports against ESD transient threats.

The ProTek Devices I06LC is a high-speed low-capacitance steering diode array for the protection of up to six data lines or I/O ports against electrostatic discharge (ESD) transient threats.

This new device is ideally suited to use in applications involving multiple I/O ports, such as set-top boxes, computer interfaces, and LAN/WAN equipment.

The I06LC consists of a pair of six-diode arrays that steer the ESD transient currents to either the positive supply voltage or to ground.

A repetitive reverse voltage of greater than 70V enables the device to protect data lines of 3, 5, 12, 15, 24 and up to 36V.

The device can be configured for either unidirectional or bidirectional signal or data line applications.

Pins 7 and 3 are connected between the positive voltage bus and ground, respectively, to enable unidirectional overvoltage protection.

For bidirectional overvoltage protection, the pins are connected, respectively, to the positive and negative voltage bus.

The I06LC is designed to meet the requirements of the IEC61000-4-2 (EN61000-4-2) ESD, IEC61004-4 (EN61000-4-4) EFT, and IEC61000-4-5 (EN61000-4-5), 24A, 8/20 standards for S transient threat conditions.

Its low capacitance ensures signal integrity up to 900MHz.
