Array provides full protection for two
USB ports
The ProTek Devices SRV05-4 is a dual USB port protection array which provides ESD protection for the data line as well as clamping the effects of electrical fast transients on the power bus.
Now available from Hunter Electronic Components, the ProTek Devices SRV05-4 is a dual USB port protection array which provides ESD protection for the data line as well as clamping the effects of electrical fast transients on the power bus The SRV05-4 combines eight low-capacitance steering diodes for up to four individual data or transmission lines and one transient voltage suppression diode for the power bus

Power relay shows a sensitive side
Relay is designed with a minimum of piece parts and a coil terminal over-moulding to achieve a compact configuration and high reliability.
The compact SOT-23 6-lead plastic package offers minimal lead inductance to help prevent overshoot voltages during high ESD current events, and allows the device to be optimally mounted near the PCB connector.
The device is rated for 5V applications, and features ultra-low capacitance of only 3pF per line.
A Spice model including all the relevant parameters is available for circuit simulation, allowing users to determine the signal integrity and insertion loss for fast edge-rate digital signals.
The SRV05-4 meets or exceeds the ESD requirements of IEC61000-4-2 (EN61000-4-2) and the transient requirements of IEC61000-4-4 (EN61000-4-4).
The new protection device is ideally suited to the protection of video graphic cards, 3G cellular handsets, 10/100/1000Base-T Ethernet circuits and SIMM cards.
