Hard metric backplane connectors run to
6.4Gbit/s
New high-speed differential signal interconnection for next generation 6.4Gbit/s telecomms backplanes and high-speed measurement/control systems has been added to Honda's NCB hard metric series.
New high-speed differential signal interconnection for next generation 6.4Gbit/s telecomms and Internet backplanes and high-speed measurement/control systems has been added to Honda's NCB hard metric series Based on current 2mm hard metric packaging practice, the new additions fit in the same board space as lower performance equivalents, providing a cost effective upgrade path to enhance the performance of existing systems to 6.4Gbit/s

Honda connects with the latest memory cards
Honda has launched a new range of low profile, high performance slot connectors for use with the latest SD (Secure Digital) solid-state, removable memory cards.
In common with existing Honda NCB connectors, the new range features IEC917 (DIN43355) and IEC61076-4-101 compliant contacts offering high signal density for compact performance.
Using high quality contacts, the new and existing NCB backplane connectors ensure good mechanical contact stability and eliminate PCB through-hole damage.
NCB connectors are based on press-fit technology (solderless connection), and are thus unaffected by heat stress or flux cleaning.
Honda is initially offering the new high-performance range with 72 contacts.
