Gaskets keep out water while blocking
EMI
Holland Shielding Systems has developed a new series of watertight EMC gaskets, allowing enclosures and cabinets to be sealed simultaneously against EMI and water ingress.
Holland Shielding Systems has developed a new series of watertight EMC gaskets, allowing enclosures and cabinets to be sealed simultaneously against EMI and water ingress The gaskets remove the need for two separate seals, reducing both assembly costs and the space required
The gaskets are available in a soft compressable version, so that a less rigid construction can be used.
This can also result in a cost reduction.
In most cases the gaskets can be used without changing the construction of the enclosure.
The large compression range makes it possible to use a single type for many applications.
Gaskets are also available with flame retardant qualities and with an electrically conductive self-adhesive backing.
