in one
Holland Shielding Systems has developed a new series of water-sealing EMC gaskets.
Holland Shielding Systems has developed a new series of water-sealing EMC gaskets The advantage of the new gaskets is that a single seal can take the place of two separate EMI and waterproofing seals
Not only does this reduce materials and assembly costs, but the single seal saves space in the final product.
A soft compressable version is also available to allow the use of a less rigid construction.
(This can also result in a cost reduction.) In most cases these gaskets can be used without changing a product design.
The large compression range makes it possible to use a single type for many applications.
Types are also available with flame retardant properties and with (electrically conductive) self-adhesive backing.
