Panyu will complement the Monthey site by focusing on the production of Probimer 77 solder mask systems.
This new co-ordinated production set up at Panyu and Monthey has been made possible thanks to a global approach: A universal pcb product range is manufactured at both sites according to the same set of in-house technical quality standards, such as quality control under real production conditions.
Peter Littlewood, Global Vice President Power and Electronics says: "The PCB market is a core strategic market for Huntsman and the investment we recently made to expand our capabilities in China proves this commitment".
"It will strengthen our position not only in the Asian Pacific region but also in Europe and the US through an optimised and more cost effective production facility in Switzerland".
