As part of its strategy to expand its product capability for the laser industry, HiTek Power has introduced the LDD4000 high-power laser diode driver Developed in close co-operation with the laser diode industry, the LDD4000 can be used for direct-diode laser systems or in applications requiring pumping of YAG lasers

Housed in a compact 2U high, rack-mounting module weighing only 8kg, the LDD4000 has a maximum output power of 4500W, represented by a 1-100A current at a voltage of 15 to 45V.

It incorporates all the necessary regulation capability for machining in both CW and pulse modes.

The driver's output current can be controlled by a 0-10V control voltage.

A feedback signal, derived from the output current, allows precise monitoring and control.

Multiple LDD4000s can be operated in parallel for applications that require higher power.

Output current stability is better than 0.2%, with a minimum of 0.1A.

Ripple/noise is less than 1A.

Maximum input current is 10A per phase and rise-time from 0 to full current is less than 100us.

Recognising the differing needs of the industry, HiTek Power can offer customised versions of the LDD4000 to meet specific OEM requirements.
