TEK150 Series 150W switching power supplies have a high output current pulse capability that makes them suitable for thermal printing systems, telecommunications, test and industrial equipment.

The TEK150 Series of 150W switching power supplies have a high output current pulse capability that makes them suitable for use in thermal printing systems, telecommunications, test and industrial equipment The TEK150 AC/DC supplies measure only 38 x 76 x 127mm and weigh less than 450g

Their U-channel casing allows them to be operated at up to 100W without fan cooling or up to 150W with forced cooling of 16ft3/min.

Four models are available, offering output voltage ratings of 5 to 6V, 12 to 16V, 24 to 30V and 48 to 56V.

Input voltage is 90 to 132/180 to 264V AC auto-selectable, at a frequency of 47 to 63Hz.

HiTek Power can also design and manufacture custom models to meet specific customer requirements.

The supplies' high output current pulse capability is particularly useful in applications such as thermal printing systems, where a high current can be needed for a short time to print large black areas.

Typically, a 12V output TEK150 can provide a peak of up to 50% over its rated current for up to 50ms.

Features of the TEK150 Series include remote on/off; power good; and overtemperature, overvoltage, overcurrent and short-circuit protection with automatic recovery.

The supplies meet all relevant international safety and emission specifications, including EN61000-3-2 Class A.
