Alliance programme aims to cultivate the ecosystem of partners that supporting IAR Systems' portfolio of embedded development tools and middleware.

IAR Systems has set up the IAR Partner Ecosystem, an alliance programme that will cultivate the ecosystem of partners that supporting IAR Systems' portfolio of embedded development tools and middleware Many key players in the embedded industry are already working closely with IAR Systems to achieve higher levels of integration between their respective products

These include vendors of silicon, RTOSs, middleware/software, debuggers, boards, development kits etc, as well as consultants and other service providers.

The IAR Partner Ecosystem now provides a better-defined network within which these activities, along with interaction between the partners, is actively encouraged and supported.

This new approach offers considerable benefits, both for the partners themselves and for the end customers.

Partners are provided with the opportunity to work together with IAR Systems to improve end user solutions, and to collaborate with IAR Systems on marketing and sales activities to promote the higher value of these integrated solutions.

The end customers benefit from being able to source real, working solutions rather than stand-alone parts.

The higher levels of product integration will minimise the developer's workload across the entire development process, allowing them to focus on the application rather than needing to solve problems caused by incompatible system and tool chain parts.

The customers will also benefit from the enhanced product knowledge and understanding gained by the participants in the programme.

IAR Partner Ecosystem is tailored to fit different the needs of the different types of partner needs, and has three types of membership to maximise the benefits for the entire network: Community Members, who contribute with various products and technologies towards the full end user solution; Technology Members, who share IAR Systems' long-term commitment to providing customers with seamlessly integrated solutions, and whose products are deeply integrated with those of IAR Systems; and Semiconductor Members - key silicon vendors who participate in the deepest level of product integration, supported technology investments from both parties.
