YellowSuite is the new name for a family of advanced embedded design tools and middleware.
IAR Systems also plans to offer the tool suite for Freescale's S08 8bit MCU architecture in Q1 2008.

At the heart of IAR YellowSuite is IAR Embedded Workbench, the company's flagship C/C++ compiler.
Integral to IAR Embedded Workbench is the C-Spy debugging tool for testing of code using either a simulator or a hardware debug probe, such as IAR J-Link.
Using the combination of VisualState and IAR PowerPac with IAR Embedded Workbench enables developers to increase the feature richness and code quality of an application while reducing implementation complexity and improving maintainability.
VisualState is an ideal graphical development tool to use for demanding event-driven embedded applications.
VisualState generates optimised ANSI C code from state machine designs based on UML.
It provides advanced verification and validation utilities and generates very compact C/C++ code that is 100% consistent with your system design.
IAR PowerPac is an integrated middleware family that combines a small memory footprint RTOS and a versatile file system.
The evaluation edition of IAR YellowSuite is available with Freescale's evaluation boards for the ColdFire V1 and V2 cores and IAR KickStart Kits for the V2 core.
