IBase Technology has released a new MB879 Mini-ITX motherboard with the ATi Radeon Xpress 200 chipset, combining stunning 3D graphics with universal connectivity Providing high performance onboard video processing, the MB879 is designed for gaming, digital entertainment, POS, ATM, kiosk and medical applications

The MB879 supports Intel Pentium M processors with front side bus of 400MHz or 533MHz and up to 1Gbyte of DDR2-667 memory for enhanced performance.

Aside from the onboard VGA CRT interface, the MB879 provides a choice of video outputs with a 24bit dual channel LVDS interface and TV-out header for RCA and S-video.

The onboard Radeon Xpress 200 is the first chipset solution in the market with a DirectX 9.0 graphics core; it can effortlessly scale from everyday multimedia applications to high-definition 3D gaming.

Flexible expansion is provided via a PCI slot, a mini-PCI slot and a PCI-Express (x1) slot.

Useful I/O interfaces include six USB ports, four COM ports and an optional 1394 FireWire connector.

The board comes with 10/100Base-T Ethernet and an additional Gigabit Ethernet is optional.

The MB879 is fully RoHS compliant, meeting the latest environmental standards.
