DC/DC convertors offer high efficiency
Ideal Power's new DC/DC convertors have efficiency ratings of up to 85%, allowing them to work at operating temperatures of -40 to 75C at full load.
Ideal Power has released isolated and fully regulated 2W DC/DC converters in the high-density 26 x 9.5 x 12.5mm SIP package They have input ranges of 9-36/18-75V DC
The 4:1 input range coupled with high efficiencies and a shutdown input during stand-by make the units suitable for battery-operated applications and distributed power systems.
The series has 18 models, offering 9-36V DC or 18-75V DC input ranges with single and dual outputs ranging from 3.3 to 15V DC and +/-5 to +/-15V DC.
The units have efficiency ratings of up to 85%, allowing them to work at operating temperatures of -40 to 75C at full load.
The DC/DC converters also come with short-circuit protection, regulated outputs and a 1500V DC isolation voltages, allowing them to be used in a wide range of industrial applications.
