The RU series of general-purpose relays from Idec Electronics has been designed to comply with the requirements of the WEEE Directive.

The directive calls for the removal or reduction of all hazardous material contained within electrical or electronic components.

With this in mind, the RU is completely lead and cadmium free and is manufactured without the use of ozone-depleting chemicals.

The RU relay features both a nonpolarised LED power indicator and a mechanical flag.

It has no internal wires, incorporates a colour-coded latching test button and has snap-on marking plates.

Contacts are rated at 6A, and coil voltage may be specified as 12, 24 or 110V DC, or 24, 110-120 or 220-240V AC.
