Indium Corporation of America held a meeting for its European distributors in Brighton, England in conjunction with the biannual SMART (Surface Mount and Related Technology) Conference, of which Indium Corporation was a major sponsor and exhibitor Both the conference and distributor meeting focused on recent advancements in Pb-free technologies, and featured industry experts who provided insight into the latest products and manufacturing processes, as well as regulatory and reliability issues
Over the years, Indium Corporation has taken the lead in educating the industry on the issues involved with Pb-free implementation around the globe.
The SMART Group was organised to promote the advancement of the electronics manufacturing industry through the education, training and notification of its members in surface mount and related assembly technologies.
