Indium Corporation's Senior Technologist, Dr Ronald C Lasky, PhD, PE, will present his popular paper "How to implement lead-free assembly at your factory" at two North American events this month.

Indium Corporation's Senior Technologist, Dr Ronald C Lasky, PhD, PE, will present his popular paper "How to implement lead-free assembly at your factory" at two North American events this month The presentations will take place at: Nepcon East on 5th May 2005 from 0830 to 1530 at the Boston Convention Center in Boston, Massachusetts; and at the Quebec Electronics Technology Show on 19th May 2005 at the Place Bonaventure in Montreal, Canada

Each presentation will begin with a brief summary of WEEE and RoHS compliance requirements, followed by a review of best practices in implementing Pb-free assembly.

Delegates will hear about two case studies involving Motorola and Hewlett Packard and the workshop will conclude by giving the attendees a strategy to develop a RoHS compliant assembly plan at their facility.

Dr Lasky, holder of the prestigious SMTA Founder's Award, is a world-renown process expert and a visiting professor at Dartmouth College.
