IDT has expanded its QuickSwitch bus switch family for the enterprise/carrier-class and access infrastructure markets.

IDT has expanded its QuickSwitch bus switch family for the enterprise/carrier-class and access infrastructure markets.

IDT is offering seven new QuickSwitch devices and is expanding the feature set of its existing QuickSwitch products to include a faster enable/disable time than previous iterations.

All IDT QuickSwitch devices offer the highest bandwidth and lowest resistance (Ron) available for 3.3V bus switch devices.

IDT's QuickSwitch products can pass high-frequency data signals up to 500MHz, while the charge pump technology provides very low and very flat Ron over the operating range.

Flat Ron combined with very low ON capacitance results in high-signal integrity through the devices, enabling them to pass high-frequency data.

In addition, input signals up to 5V can be passed through the 3.3V QuickSwitch devices.

The QuickSwitch family offers a wide array of configurations and an advanced suite of features to address high-speed data switching within communications applications.

The family also provides a solution for voltage translation, having the capability to translate 3.3V signals to 2.5 or 1.8V, depending on a device's input requirements.

The QuickSwitch family of application-specific products complements IDT's portfolio of CBTLV general-purpose bus switches.
