DSP seminars focus on video applications
Abacus Polar is hosting two DSP seminars with Texas Instruments.
The conference papers are application and solution oriented, highly technical, but not academic.
The papers are about technical trends, basic knowhow, applications and solutions with microcontrollers and microprocessors, development tools and operating systems, system solutions and services.
The conference audience will be mainly design engineers, engineering management and other technical specialists.
The entrance fee for conference delegates (including food and drinks) is GBP 90 for the UK and Eur 120 for Germany.
Major topics of the Chips and Tools conferences will be: microcontroller/microprocessor architectures and families; hardware and software development tools; real-time operating systems; embedded Internet/connectivity; processor-based IPs, PLDs and ASICs; and concepts and services to optimise the design process.
Each conference will feature a total of 24 papers.
Different papers will be presented in the UK and Germany, but the conference programmes in Karlsruhe and Munich will be the same.
The papers will target industrial, automotive, wireless, communications, consumer, computing and medical electronics market segments.
There will be a tabletop exhibition during the conference.
Exhibitors will be vendors and distributors of microcontrollers and microprocessors, development tools and operating systems, system solutions and services.
Current exhibitors include Accelerated Technology UK, Beck IPC, Digi International, GreenHills Software, IAR Systems, Infineon Technologies, Lauterbach, Tektronix UK, Wind River Systems, Zilog and G D Technik.
Entrance to the exhibition is free of charge for all visitors (even if they are not conference delegates).
