The inaugural conference attracted 21 delegates including representatives from organisations such as AWE, Aero Stanrew, BAE Systems, MBDA, Meggitt, RF Aviation, Rolls-Royce, Smiths and Thales.
Excellent feedback was received from delegates, as IGG's Aerospace and Defence Manager, Lloyd Francis, explains.
"Our original intention was to hold a user conference once a year", said Francis.
"However, delegates found the first conference so beneficial that they asked us to hold one every six months".
"It provides a valuable forum for electronics professionals and purchasers in the defence, space and aerospace industries to exchange views, examine potential solutions and catch up on best practice".
The reaction to the first conference was so positive that people have been contacting IGG to secure a place at the November event, rather than waiting for an invitation to arrive.
As a result, the company has increased the number of places to 40, but will limit the attendance at around that figure to ensure continued discussion and interaction.
The two-day conference will be held at IGG's headquarters in Fareham, Hampshire.
