Frequency synthesisers are speedy switchers

An ITT Corporation, Microwave Systems product story

Both frequency synthesisers continue WaveCor's tradition of the industry's lowest phase noise and exceptional spurious levels combined with extremely fast switching speeds.

ITT Microwave Systems has added two new models to its WaveCor line of high performance frequency synthesisers.

The WaveCor 5.0 and the WaveCor 10.0 synthesisers operate over frequency ranges of 300MHz to 5.0GHz and 300MHz to 10.0GHz, respectively.

Both frequency synthesisers continue WaveCor's tradition of the industry's lowest phase noise and exceptional spurious levels combined with extremely fast switching speeds.

For example, at 2.4GHz, the WaveCor synthesiser provides phase noise levels of -137dBc/Hz at a 10kHz offset and typical spurious levels of -65dBc.

Switching speeds on both models are less than 200ns when tuning to any operating frequency.

The high reliability and performance of both models are available in a 3U rack-mount chassis.

These new models enhance the existing WaveCor line that includes the WaveCor 2.50 and 18.0 frequency synthesisers in both single- and dual-output versions.
