IKOS launches joint verification partnerships

IKOS Systems has announced the IKOS iPartner programme to provide joint verification solutions for SoC and platform-based design.

The new programme consolidates IKOS' existing partner activities and provides a focal point for third-party vendors to work with IKOS in providing advanced joint verification solutions for customers working with increasingly complex SoC designs for applications including mobile device, networking and graphics.

Members of the IKOS iPartner programme include ARM, Atrenta, Cadence Design Systems, CoWare, Ixia, MIPS Technologies, Model Technology (a Mentor Graphics company), Novas Software, SUN Microsystems, Synopsys, Verisity Design and Xilinx.

IKOS' hardware-assisted verification products address customers' growing demands for high-performance, high-capacity verification capabilities needed to ensure success in leading-edge SoC designs.

By coupling their tools with IKOS products in joint verification solutions, third-party electronic design automation (EDA) providers are able to offer customers innovative verification solutions needed to meet evolving verification challenges.

With the iPartner programme, IKOS now offers a programme specifically created to address the growing breadth of third-party tools integrated with IKOS products.

iPartner's benefit from access to IKOS' leading emulation and simulation products, and the support in integrating to them.

The iPartner programme also provides a vehicle for the establishment of third-party relationships and for promotion of joint solutions.
