Embedded systems and software solutions provider I-Logix has recorded a record number of new customer wins for the third quarter.
Demand for its core model-driven development (MDD) tools Rhapsody and Statemate have pushed sales of I-Logix seats up 113% from the same quarter in the previous year demonstrating its growing strength and industry leadership.
Of the total number of sales, 63% came from repeat customers, whereas 37% of sales came from new customer acquisitions.
Major account wins came from the following companies: ITT Aerospace, Siemens, Lockheed Martin, Saab Bofors Dynamics, L3 Com, Nissan, General Dynamics, Boeing, Northrop Grumman, Hewlett Packard, Tyco Medical, Agilent, Philips Medical, Bose, Abbott and Motorola.
Sales of all I-Logix tools and consulting services have increased more than 40% over the same quarter last year.
Although Q3 2004 growth is distributed over all industry segments, significant growth was achieved in the military and aerospace, industrial and transportation industries.
"I am happy to report that I-Logix is witnessing tremendous momentum in the marketplace", said I-Logix CEO Gene Robinson.
"As model-driven technology finds increased acceptance among mainstream development and testing practices, I-Logix is clearly at the forefront of our industry providing the most comprehensive solution available today".
I-Logix expanded its presence in the German market by finalising the acquisition of the product division of German software development consulting firm Berner and Mattner.
The acquisition takes place amidst a period of significant growth in the European embedded tools marketplace and will expand I-Logix' capacity to provide comprehensive model-driven development (MDD) solutions and support to customers worldwide.
In response to growing demand in the Asian pacific marketplace, I-Logix opened a direct sales office in Japan to provide a higher level of service to existing accounts and expand its presence.
