The new IAC-H553 is a low cost ISA-bus SBC based on National Semiconductor's Geode GXm processor, which runs on 2.5V for fanless operation and gives Pentium class performance at a 486 class price

The new IAC-H553 is a low cost ISA-bus SBC based on National Semiconductor's Geode GXm processor, which runs on 2.5V for fanless operation The standard 233MHz Geode GXm processor combined with the maximum supported capacity of 128MB SDRAM gives you Pentium class performance at 486 class price

For those who demand higher performance, the IAC-H553 can be specially ordered with an optional NS Geode processor up to 300MHz.

The processor and its companion CX5530 chipset together provide support for CRT and 18-bit TFT LCD panel displays at resolutions up to 1024x768x16bpp.

The on-board Realtek RTL8139C chip provides PCI Fast Ethernet for network connectivity.

Other standard features include one PCI Enhanced IDE interface, one FDD interface, two 16550 serial ports, one multi-mode parallel port, two USB ports, one IrDA interface, and a 4-bit Digital I/O.

A reserve Solid State Disk (SSD) socket for diskless operation and a PC/104 connector for expansion complete this affordable package.
