The onboard NS Geode GX1 is a low-power CPU and can be operated in a fanless environment.

The PCM-5335 is equipped with a NS CS5530A chipset, an Intel 82559ER Fast Ethernet interface, an onboard 144-pin SODIMM socket allowing for up to 128MB of SDRAM to be installed, two serial ports, two USB ports, one parallel port, and an SSD socket that supports a CompactFlash disk.

Able to display both CRT and flat panel simultaneously, this board can display resolutions of up to 1024 x 768 at 64K colour depth.

It supports noninterlaced CRTs and up to 18bit TFT LCD displays.

With a built in watchdog timer, APM1.2 power management and an extended temperature version (-20 to + 80C), the PCM-5335 is capable of being the heart of any embedded system.
