Intersil has made four new additions to its MightyMUX high-performance analogue switch line.

Intersil has made four new additions to its MightyMUX high-performance analogue switch line.

The new ISL43120, ISL43121 and ISL43122 ICs are single-supply dual SPST analogue switches in tiny 8-lead SOT-23 packages.

The new single-supply ISL43210 IC is configured as a single SPDT analogue switch in a tiny 6-lead SOT-23 package.

Designed for low-voltage portable applications, these switches provide industry-leading 3V guaranteed performance.

"We continue to support portable device markets with high-performance, low-cost, analogue switches in very small SOT-23 packaging", said Mamoon Rashid, Director of Marketing for Intersil's Analogue Solutions Products.

"Our datasheets offer improved device characterisation to facilitate new designs by including complete specification tables for +3.3, +5 and +12V supplies.

Each table includes more specifications covering the full temperature range and supply voltage tolerance".

The ISL43120 features two normally open (NO) switches, and the ISL43121 features two normally closed (NC) switches.

The ISL43122 features one NO and one NC switch offering optional SPDT functionality.

All of these new ICs offer the best guaranteed 3V on-resistance performance at a price less than $0.50 for a dual SPST analogue switch.

The ISL43210 is a dedicated SPDT switch, which also doubles as a 2:1 multiplexer.

It is the only SPDT analogue switch for under $0.50 that offers guaranteed 3V on-resistance flatness.
