Speedy operation from quad switch line
The ISL43140, ISL43141 and ISL43142 are all quad single-pole single-throw switches.
Intersil has made three new additions to its rapidly growing MightyMUX high-performance analogue switch line - the ISL43140, ISL43141 and the ISL43142 are all quad single-pole single-throw (SPST) switches These new quad analogue switches operate from single or dual supplies providing low leakage and fast switching while offering an on resistance of less than 65ohm (+/-5V at 25C) with best-in-class on-resistance flatness (12ohm maximum) and channel matching (2.5ohm maximum) across temperature

The tiny 3 x 3mm QFN package requires very little board space.
Applications include high-precision equipment used for medical, communications, and testing with secondary applications covering portable battery-powered equipment in which space and power consumption are concerns.
Low leakage currents (1nA maximum) lengthen hold times in sample-and-hold-circuits and fast switching speeds (turn-on and -off of 40 and 15ns with dual 5V supply) reduce propagation delays in timing sensitive applications.
These switches offer minimal charge injection of only 5pC (maximum) to maximise signal integrity.
All ICs are fully specified at +/-5, 12, 5 and 3V to save designers characterisation time.
Each of these new Intersil MightyMUX switches operates from a single 2 to 12V supply or a dual +/-2 to +/-6V supply.
Package options include 16-lead SOIC, 16-lead TSSOP and 3 x 3 mm 16-pad QFN.
The ISL43140 has four normally closed (NC) contacts, the ISL43141 has four normally open (NO) contacts and the ISL43142 has two NC and two NO contacts that can be used in combination to provide single-pole double-throw (SPDT) or dual 2:1 multiplexer capability.
All devices can be used as switches or multiplexers.
The ISL43140, ISL43141 and ISL43142 are pin compatible with the industry-standard DG411, DG412 and DG413 to facilitate performance upgrades to older designs.
