Switches offer more guaranteed specs
Intersil has made three new additions to its rapidly growing MightyMUX high-performance low-voltage analogue switch line - the ISL43143, ISL43144 and ISL43145.
Intersil has made three new additions to its rapidly growing MightyMUX high-performance low-voltage analogue switch line - the ISL43143, ISL43144 and ISL43145 These high-performance ICs each contain four single-pole single-throw (SPST) analogue switches that boast of best-in-class on-resistance and on-resistance flatness for switches operating below 15V

Programmable up-converter simplifies basestations
Intersil has added a new highly integrated quad up-convertor to its CommLinkT family of digital radio ICs for fixed basestation applications.
The near-chip-scale 4 x 4mm quad flat no-lead (QFN) package offers significant savings in board space.
Targeted applications include high-precision equipment used for medical, communications, and testing.
The ISL43143, ISL43144 and ISL43145 have the flexibility to operate from a +2 to +12V single supply or from a +/-2 to +/-6V dual supply.
On-resistance is less than 25ohm, at +/-5 V and 25C, and on-resistance flatness is less than 5ohms guaranteed across input voltage and industrial temperature ranges.
The near-chip-scale 16-pad 4 x 4mm QFN package greatly conserves board space, occupying 50% less real estate than the TSSOP.
A 16-lead TSSOP option is also available.
The ISL43143 includes four normally closed (NC) switches.
The ISL43144 has four normally open (NO) switches.
The ISL43145 provides flexibility with two NO and two NC switches that can be configured as dual SPDT switches or a dual 2:1 multiplexer.
A very low off-state leakage current of less than 2.5nA at +85C lengthens hold times in sample-and-hold-circuits and fast switching speeds (52/40ns on/off with dual 5V supply) reduce propagation delays in timing sensitive applications.
These switches offer minimal charge injection of less than 5pC to maximise signal integrity.
All ICs are fully specified at +/-5, 12, 5 and 3.3V to save designers characterisation time and increase their confidence in the device's performance.
Intersil offers more guaranteed specifications for these ICs than any competing products.
