Dual analogue switch has lower
on-resistance
Dual analogue switch features lower on-resistance at low supply voltages and flatness making it ideal for use in low distortion audio paths for MP3 players, cellphones and CD audio devices.
Intersil has announced a dual analogue switch that features less than 0.5ohm on-resistance across the input signal range and very low on-resistance flatness In addition, this device features improved ESD capability and is offered in very small packages, making it ideal for battery-powered, handheld and portable equipment
The ISL8484 device is a bidirectional, dual SPDT analog switch designed to operate from a single +1.65 to +4.5V supply, allowing it to operate directly off a lithium ion battery supply.
The ISL8484 is available now in standard or Pb-free (RoHS compliant) 10-lead 3 x 3mm TDFN or MSOP packages.
The suggested price in 1000 unit quantities is $1.00 each in TDFN packaging.
