Now available from Inseto is the range of highly flexible Mimot pick and place systems.

Being a manufacturer of automated systems for over 30 years and with over 700 installations, Mimot has a wealth of knowledge gained through a varied range of applications.

The most important aspect of the Mimot design offers probably the market's most versatile placement system available today.

The design focus is on machine productivity.

The machine has a large board handling area of 1200 x 800mm, with 114-332 feeder positions, and can handle components ranging from 0201 SMDs up to 55mm square.

It also offers QFP, BGA, micro BGA, flip chip and CSP ball and lead inspection.

The Mimot 1260 is also designed as an inline system.

A production line could accommodate over 900 feeders and achieve a placement rate of 66,000 components per hour with only three MP1260s, all functioning as one machine.

Coded feeders combined with an accurate vision system cope easily with a great variety of components and packages.

The feeders can be changed while the machine is running, eliminating any down time due to feeder or job change.

Feeders are also maintenance free.

The MP1260 can operate with only one head achieving 4,000 components per hour.

More heads can easily be added to increase throughput when future production volumes increase, saving the need to purchase a whole new machine.

The MP1260 can have a maximum of 10 heads achieving up to 22,000 components per hour.
