Repair kit gets PCBs back in shape
A handy new kit from Intertronics contains virtually everything needed to repair most types of damage to assembled or bare printed circuit boards.
A handy new kit from Intertronics contains virtually everything needed to repair most types of damage to assembled or bare printed circuit boards, including edge damage, non-plated-hole damage, base board surface damage and solder mask damage The CTC base board repair kit includes sections of FR4 laminate to replace damaged board corners, edges and holes
The edge sections have a specially machined tongue along one edge to fit within a groove cut into the board edge.
The kit includes tools, epoxies, colouring agents and dispensing cartridges.
Applications include repairing damaged base board - including corners and edges - damaged tooling and mounting holes and damaged coatings and solder mask.
The kit is both versatile and comprehensive and supplies all the materials and instructions to meet IPC repair guidelines.
