The DTIC EZ-mix HI dispenser is available in the UK and Ireland from Intertronics as part of the company's new adhere range of products.

This is a lightweight, cordless electric handheld dispenser for adhesives and other component materials packaged in 50ml twin cartridges.

It eliminates the stressful "hand cranking" required to use a manual dispenser.

Because it is not connected to a bulky air or electric line, it can be used easily in small confined spaces.

The Dispenser is: powerful and convenient, small and ergonomically designed, capable of exerting 890N force, dispenses even high viscosity materials over 1 million cps, easy to hold and manoeuvre, well-balanced with approximately two-thirds of the weight of the handle.

It is completely flexible and can use almost any manufacturer's material packages in 50ml dual cartridges.

Models are available for standard (rectangular flange) or new (rounded flange) cartridges, and for 1:1, 2:1, 3:2, or 4:1 mix ratios.

There is no strain, the operator simply depresses the trigger to engage the motor, thereby eliminating repetitive hand motion and RSI.

The combination of effortless dispensing and drip free operation makes it possible to accurately dispense a straight or curved bead when required.

The dispenser is truly portable and can work anywhere because the EZ-mix HI is cordless with a NiMH rechargeable battery pack (or plug it in to any standard mains socket).

The drip free feature significantly reduces or even eliminates oozing from the static mixer tip on release of the trigger.

A speed control knob allows the user to match the dispense rate to the viscosity of the material and the requirements of the application.

The adjustable drip-free feature virtually eliminates dripping - like having "suck back" without the need for air.

The unit can easily dispense even high viscosity materials faster than 1ml/s.
