Innoveda has let out details of its "International Users Conference 2001", the industry's most comprehensive forum on design, verification and manufacture of PCBs and advanced packaging.

Innoveda has announced details for the "Innoveda International Users Conference 2001", the industry's most comprehensive forum on design, verification and manufacture of PCBs and advanced packaging.

Users from around the world come together at this annual event to share their knowledge, needs and design techniques.

The event will run from the 22nd to 24th October 2001 at the Doubletree Hotel San Diego/Mission Valley.

It expands the scope of the extremely popular users conferences formerly presented by PADS Software, which last year merged with Innoveda.

This year's conference will cover Innoveda's full line of PCB design solutions, ranging from design definition through manufacturing.

The conference provides users with an opportunity to discuss complex challenges associated with board design.

It will offer a 'test-drive centre' at which customers can meet one-on-one with Innoveda personnel to address specific software issues, and then view the solutions live onscreen.

There also will be more than 25 different sessions on important design issues.

Each will provide essential information, tips and techniques to help users discover future directions and learn how to put Innoveda tools to their most efficient and cost-effective use.

Users will deliver technical presentations that share particular design techniques and applications.

Those interested in delivering a paper are asked to complete a form available at: http://ug.innoveda.com, or submit an e-mail to: ab@innoveda.com including the proposed topic of the paper, a brief outline of the message to be conveyed, the nature of the problem faced and how it was solved, and complete contact information.

All submissions are due by 15th June 2001.
