The agreement provides for the inclusion of inSilicon's enabling USB 2.0 communications technology in personal computers and peripheral devices from Hitachi.

Under the terms of the agreement, Hitachi will license the communications technology from inSilicon as part of the company's ongoing emphasis on providing optimized personal computing products to end users.
